Not much emphasis will be placed on discussing atomic anions as isolated species because it is my view that chemistry deals primarily with molecules and materials and with their reactions and properties, and I think the world of molecules begins with two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds. It handles all aspects of the docking process from preparation of the molecules to determination of the potential binding sites of the target protein, and prediction of the binding modes of the ligands.
